Leadership

Pastor Dennis Penton is the Founder and Lead Pastor of PureHeart Christian Center in Miami, Florida. Since founding the church in 1994, he has faithfully led the congregation with a vision of helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another. His passion for teaching God's Word and reaching the local community continues to shape the mission and ministry of PureHeart.

Pastor Dennis has been married to his wife, Odalys, since 1982, and together they are blessed with two children, Chris and Lauren.

Pastor Damon Phillips has faithfully served at PureHeart Christian Center since 2004 and has become a trusted leader within the church. Whether preaching, mentoring, or supporting the ministry in countless ways, he is known for his servant's heart and unwavering commitment to the PureHeart family. His dedication has played an important role in the continued growth and impact of the church.
Pastor Damon and his wife, Chantal, are blessed with two children, Loni and Damon Jr., and are grateful to serve the Lord together.

Odalys Penton serves as the Pastoral Administrator at PureHeart Christian Center, where she oversees the day-to-day administrative operations and supports the ministry of the church. Since the founding of PureHeart in 1994, she has faithfully served alongside her husband, Pastor Dennis Penton, helping carry out the church's vision with dedication, compassion, and excellence.
Odalys and Pastor Dennis are blessed with two children, Chris and Lauren, and remain committed to serving God and the PureHeart family together.

Pastor Yanny has been part of the PureHeart family for over 15 years. Throughout her time at PureHeart, she has faithfully served and encouraged countless individuals both within the church and throughout the community. Well-loved within the Spanish ministry, Pastor Yanny is passionate about encouraging others in their walk with Christ and helping people experience the love, hope, and community found at PureHeart.

Her desire is to see the Spanish-speaking community grow in faith, find lasting hope in Jesus, and become an active part of the PureHeart family.

Pastors Hosman and Erika Salamanca have been part of the PureHeart family for over seven years. Through their ministry, they invest in marriages, families, and individuals by offering biblical guidance, encouragement, and a caring presence. Their greatest joy is walking alongside others as they navigate life's seasons and grow together in Christ.

Pastors Hosman and Erika are blessed with their daughter, Daniela. Their dedication, compassion, and servant hearts have made them a valued part of the Spanish PureHeart family and the community we serve. 

Youth/Worship Leader

Shemara is dedicated to encouraging the next generation to know, love, and follow Jesus. Through authentic relationships and biblical teaching, she inspires students to grow in their faith and live out God's purpose for their lives.

Loni is passionate about investing in the lives of young people and helping them build a strong foundation in Christ. She strives to create a place where every student feels welcomed, encouraged, and valued. 

Childrens Ministry Director

Denise leads our Children's Ministry with a heart for helping children discover God's love in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. She is committed to partnering with families as they lay a strong biblical foundation for the next generation.
