In 2013, PureHeart Christian Center stepped out in faith to build a church in the mountain community of Guayabal, a small farming village near San Juan de la Maguana in the Dominican Republic. Through a partnership with a local ministry, what began as an act of faith has grown into a thriving congregation that now welcomes approximately 50 people each week for worship and fellowship.
Every summer, members of the PureHeart family return to Guayabal to continue investing in the community. Our mission team hosts Vacation Bible School for children, shares the Gospel, distributes food, clothing, and medicine, and encourages the local church through fellowship and support.
Our commitment to Guayabal extends beyond a yearly mission trip. We are grateful to witness God at work through this ministry and remain dedicated to supporting the church, serving the community, and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ for generations to come.
